Sergio Insalaco is the Head of ICT Risk Management at Unipol Group, with three decades of experience in the banking and insurance sectors. He is an expert in cybersecurity, IT governance, and operational resilience. A graduate of Politecnico di Milano, he is a board member at CLUSIT and a co-founder of ASSOCISO.
Outside of his primary role, Sergio is deeply involved in the broader cybersecurity community. He serves as a Governing Body Co-Chair for the Gartner EVANTA Italy CISO Community and is a steering committee member at Università Cattolica CETIFs Cyber Security Hub, shaping industry standards and collaboration.
He has been awarded the title of IBM Champion for six consecutive years (2019-2024) for his contributions to security technology.
