Shari Heino

Shari Heino is the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer and V.P. of Regulatory Compliance at Brazos Electric Power Cooperative. Her career in the energy sector began at ERCOT as an attorney. She holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.

Outside of her legal and compliance work, Sharis personal interests include ballroom dancing and dog training. Early in her career, she also dedicated time to pro bono work, drafting liability waivers for a nonprofit organizations home repair project for the community.

She has presented on the importance of creating an open and trusting corporate culture that values learning from mistakes.
