Sheila MacMurdo is a physiotherapist at Prince County Hospital and the Past President of the PEI Physiotherapy Association. A graduate of Dalhousie University and UPEI, she is a vocal advocate for improving healthcare access in the province, championing initiatives to address staffing shortages and expand patient services.
Originally from British Columbia, Sheila has lived in PEI since 2007 with her husband and two daughters. She leads an active lifestyle outside of work, enjoying outdoor activities such as trail running and gardening.
She was instrumental in launching a provincial pilot program to provide free pelvic floor physiotherapy to underinsured residents.
