Dr. Stefano Bini is the Maria Manetti Shrem Endowed Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at UCSF, specializing in hip and knee replacement. As departmental CTO and founder of the Digital Orthopaedics Conference (DOCSF), he is a global leader in bridging clinical orthopedics with digital health, AI, and robotics to innovate musculoskeletal care.
Born in Italy and raised in Australia, Stefano is an avid cook, pencil artist, and amateur photographer. He enjoys traveling, skiing, and cycling up steep hills to stay in shape. He is also teaching himself to play guitar, despite his self-professed lack of inherent musical talent.
