Stephen Coleman

Stephen Coleman is the Priest-in-Charge of The Grosvenor Chapel and Chairman of the Mayfair Neighbourhood Forum. Educated at the University of Oxford and Cardiff University, he uniquely combines his clerical duties with a specialized part-time role as an ecclesiastical law associate, advising on clergy discipline. He previously practiced as a corporate solicitor at Slaughter and May.

Outside of his official duties, Stephen is married with two daughters. He is deeply committed to education governance, serving as a trustee and chair of governors for several Church of England schools. In his spare time, he enjoys attending the opera and the theatre, and socializing with friends.

He transitioned from a career as a corporate and financing solicitor in the City of London to become a Church of England priest.
