Subrah S Iyar

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, he is best known for co-founding Webex, which he led as CEO until its $3. 2 billion acquisition by Cisco. He was also a crucial early investor in Zoom.
After selling Webex, Subrah prioritized spending time with his family, focusing on traveling and bonding with his two daughters. The inspiration for his current company, Moxo, was partly influenced by observing his college-age daughters use of technology. He is a serial entrepreneur driven by the freedom to innovate and solve business communication challenges.
He is considered an inadvertent architect of the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model due to his innovative pricing and distribution strategy for Webex in the late 1990s.
