An award-winning inventor, she holds a Masters degree from the University of Southern Denmark and was recognized with the "British Invention of The Year" award in 2016 for her work.
Her personal journey is one of resilience and inspiration. After a severe illness forced her to end her university career, she was inspired to create a solution for those with mobility challenges. This experience directly led to her founding eFOLDi to improve peoples quality of life through accessible technology.
Sumis own health challenges were the direct inspiration for inventing the innovative eFOLDi personal vehicle.
