With a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, she is an expert in high-throughput assay development, consumable manufacturing, technology transfer, and scaling up production for genomics technologies like the NovaSeq X.
During her PhD, Sunmin was a GK12 Fellow, an experience she found incredibly rewarding. She taught general and AP chemistry to students in an urban high school, aiming to motivate more young people to engage with science and pursue higher education.
