Sylvain Garneau is the President and CEO of Groupe Lacasse, a major North American office furniture manufacturer. His extensive career in executive leadership spans over 25 years in the manufacturing sector, including roles in the steel, pulp and paper, and railway industries. He holds an MBA from HEC Montréal and a BA from the University of Ottawa.
Outside of work, Sylvain enjoys reading, exercising, and spending quality time with his wife and children. He has also been an active leader in his industry, becoming the first Canadian to be elected president of the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association (BIFMA), demonstrating a commitment to service.
He once moved his family to live in both Chicago, Illinois, and Vancouver, British Columbia, for previous executive roles before returning to his home province of Quebec.
