Outside of work, Taran is an avid cook, skier, and windsurfer who enjoys reading. A former decorated athlete, he was the captain of the Dartmouth College football team, earning 1st Team Academic All-Ivy honors. He grew up in Colorado, where he was also a captain of back-to-back state championship football teams, and now lives in Texas with his family.
