Terry Gayman is a Professional Engineer serving as the General Manager and City Engineer for Guelph. A Civil Engineering graduate from the University of Waterloo, he has extensive experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in both the private and municipal sectors, overseeing major infrastructure, transportation, and environmental engineering projects for the city.
His professional focus on environmental services and natural heritage protection aligns with a personal interest in environment and conservation. Terry shows a keen interest in leadership and management principles, following publications like the Harvard Business Review to inform his work in public service.
Recently, Terry has also taken on the role of Acting Deputy CAO for Infrastructure, Development and Environment.
