A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he leveraged his experience as a student-athlete to launch the company, initially focusing on helping sports teams improve their training and learning processes.
Outside of his entrepreneurial ventures, Tommys background is deeply rooted in high-level athletics. He was a starting center for the UNC Tar Heels football team before his career was cut short due to medical retirement, an experience that directly inspired the creation of his company.
His transition from athlete to tech entrepreneur led to him being named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Education.
