Tyl van Toorn is the Co-founder and CEO of Coeuraj and a Partner at Coeuraj Capital, specializing in helping leaders navigate complex transitions. He has been launching new ventures since 1999, focusing on creating tools and solutions for organizational change and collaborative problem-solving. He studied at Camosun College before preparing for law school.
Originally planning a career in law, Tyl was drawn into the arts and entertainment world, where he spent over 15 years in event management for major events like the ESPN X Games. He is an avid flamenco guitarist and believes Victoria, BC, is the best city in the world.
He intentionally co-founded his company with the name "Coeuraj"— a word with no prior meaning—so its definition could be shaped by the organizations work over time.
