Ursula Gurney is the Deputy Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. With extensive experience in collegiate athletics, she has served as President of the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A) and on the NCAA Division I Committee on Academics, demonstrating national leadership in student-athlete success.
She is passionate about empowering female leaders and supporting student-athletes beyond their sports careers. Her activities include engaging with Kansas Citys professional sports community, promoting women in sport through various leadership events, and creating networking opportunities to help female athletes break the glass ceiling in their future professions.
As a former nationally competitive swimmer in Canada, she participated in several National Championships and Olympic and Commonwealth Games Trials.
