Vernon Blickenstaff was a lifetime dairy farmer and an influential figure in the Kansas agricultural community. He served on the boards of numerous organizations, including Great Plains Dairy, Mid-Am Dairy, and the American Dairy Association, earning awards for both milk quality and soil conservation.
Deeply rooted in his hometown of Pretty Prairie, Kansas, Vernon was highly active in his community. He was a long-time member of the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church, where he contributed as a former board member and Sunday School teacher, demonstrating a strong commitment to his faith and local congregation.
He received the states Top Quality Milk Production award and the Bankers Award for Soil Conservation.
