Violeta Manoukian

Violeta Manoukian is the founder of Collaboration Works International, bringing over two decades of expertise in sustainable development and multi-sector partnerships. She focuses on building global trade, particularly for Atlantic Canada, and facilitating collaboration between governments, communities, and private industry. Her work is informed by her Masters degree in International Affairs from Carleton University.

Violeta is passionate about creating systemic change through participatory and collaborative approaches. This interest stems from her Masters thesis on participatory development and is reflected in her publications on gender, poverty reduction, and the realities of women and children in the Democratic Republic of Congo, indicating a deep commitment to social equity.

Her Masters thesis, "Participatory Development: Paradigm Shift in Theory and Practice, " was approved "With Distinction" and has fueled her lifelong passion for collaborative approaches.
