Walmen Dumaliang is a Brooklyn-based industrial designer and the founder of Walmen, a small-batch home decor brand. A graduate of the Wentworth Institute of Technology, he has a decade of experience partnering with startups and established brands to bring products from concept through to manufacturing.
As a hands-on maker, he designs, produces, and ships his own collection of 3D-printed lighting and objects from his home studio. This gives him a practical, ground-level perspective on the realities of making and selling physical products in the modern market.
He helped design and develop a molded glass "lava lamp unicorn horn" for the A24 film "Death of a Unicorn. "
