Yasmine Mustafa is the CEO and Co-founder of ROAR, a social enterprise using technology to cultivate safer workplaces. An alumna of Temple University, she is a serial entrepreneur who previously founded and sold another company. Colleagues describe her as smart, ambitious, driven, and creative.
Fueled by her experiences as an immigrant and a woman in tech, Yasmine is dedicated to fostering inclusive opportunities. She founded the Philadelphia chapter of Girl Develop It to help women learn software development and serves on the boards of Coded by Kids and PHLDiversity.
Her inspiration for ROAR came after a solo trip across South America, where stories of assault from other women travelers ignited her mission to protect others.
