Yotam Rosenbaum is a Y Combinator founder, mentor, and investor, currently serving as a Founding Partner at First Peak Ventures. His journey began in music, graduating from Berklee College of Music and working as a professional musician and composer before co-founding the music-tech startup Earbits (YC W11), which had a successful exit.
Born and raised in Israel, Yotam moved to the US for his music studies. His personal experience marketing his own band directly inspired his leap into entrepreneurship. He is a drummer, majored in composition, and once produced a jazz album of his own music featuring two Grammy-winning artists.
He transitioned from a professional musician with zero startup experience to a YC founder and an investor in over 400 YC companies.
