Zahida Sherman is a DEI leader with over 15 years of experience, currently serving as the Director of Culture and Belonging at SCI-Arc. She has a proven track record in higher education and corporate settings, specializing in executive coaching and scaling equity strategies. She earned her Masters degree from Northwestern University.
Outside of her primary career, Zahida is a published writer on culture and wellness for outlets like Bustle and Healthline. In her personal time, she enjoys poetry, dystopian novels, experimenting with new recipes, and is a self-described history nerd and rookie surfer. She also hosts a podcast on pop culture.
She founded her own DEI consulting firm, Z Crown Consulting, and is also a Lecturer in Antiracism at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale University.
