With an educational background from Temple University and Oxford Brookes University, her career has centered on community empowerment, previously founding multiple community-focused organizations in St. Maarten before launching her beverage brand.
Inspired by her Caribbean upbringing, where herbal tea is a way of life, Zahira is a passionate gardener, singer, and community mobilizer. As a wife and mother of three, she aims to bring the wellness benefits of herbal teas, which were a staple in her familys garden, to a wider audience.
She co-founded St. Maarten Garden Artists, where she designed and maintained organic vegetable and herb gardens for schools and resorts.
