Adam J. Bruggeman, MD, MHA, FAAOS, FAOA

Dr. Adam Bruggeman is a distinguished orthopedic spine surgeon and serves as the Chair of the Council on Advocacy for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS). He actively leads health policy efforts before federal and state agencies, holds multiple Chief Medical Officer roles, and earned his MD from The University of Texas.

Outside of his clinical and advocacy work, Dr. Bruggeman has a background of community involvement, having served as a College World Series Ambassador while at Creighton University. He was also a member of academic and leadership societies, including Alpha Omega Alpha and Omicron Delta Kappa, during his education.

He is the founder of NuHope, an innovative, multidisciplinary medical facility for acute and chronic pain that also addresses the full spectrum of opiate use and dependency.
