Ahmed El-Awady is an Associate Professor at Ain Shams University and the Director of its Center of Excellence for Sustainability. With a Ph. D. from the University of Waterloo, his expertise covers environmental systems, complex system failure analysis, and driving university-wide sustainability. He actively leads initiatives to boost the universitys global environmental rankings.
