Alejandra Perina

Alejandra Perina is the Co-founder and Head of Bioinformatics at AllGenetics, a genomics company she helped establish in 2011. Holding a PhD in Genetics from the Universidade da Coruña, she is a published researcher who leads the companys bioinformatics services and high-throughput sequencing projects.

Alejandra is passionate about fostering future scientific talent. She has volunteered as a mentor for the Inspira STEAM project, an initiative aimed at encouraging an interest in scientific and technology careers among young girls.

Her research interests extend into wildlife conservation; in 2023 she co-authored a published study on the activity patterns of grey wolves in Southern Europe.
