Alexander Tong

A PhD graduate from Yale University, his work focuses on creating generative AI for single-cell biology and therapeutic protein design. He was previously a postdoctoral fellow with Turing Award laureate Yoshua Bengio.
Originally from Seattle, Alexander is an avid sailor and runner. His background includes both a Bachelors and Masters degree in computer science from Tufts University before he pursued his doctoral studies at Yale. He has shown an interest in entrepreneurship within the tech space.
He co-founded Dreamfold, a startup that utilizes generative AI for therapeutic protein design.
