He concluded his career as Chief Procurement Officer at Deutsche Bank, having previously held senior roles at Microsoft and Nokia. He holds a Bachelors Degree from Coventry University.
Following his retirement in July 2025, Alf is focusing on personal interests. He is a passionate member of The City Academy Singers, a choir that partners with and raises funds for The Whitechapel Mission, a homeless charity. He enjoys sharing the choirs performances and charitable efforts.
Alf also served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Nokia UK Pension fund, with fiduciary responsibility for over £1 billion in assets.
