Anand Gopakumar is the Co-founder and CEO of The Apprentice Project (TAP), a non-profit Ed-Tech initiative dedicated to empowering underserved children in India. A former Teach for India Fellow, he focuses on equipping students with 21st-century skills. He is a graduate of Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering and his work has gained significant recognition.
Anand is driven by a deep personal mission to enable Indias education system to become a space for self-discovery and holistic development for every child, irrespective of their background. He believes in leveraging technology as a scalable medium to bridge the opportunity gap for children from low-income families and create lasting social impact.
His organization, The Apprentice Project, was a Grand Prize Winner of the Harvard Presidents Innovation Challenge, highlighting the global recognition of his work.
