J. Andrew Bradford is a seasoned arts administrator, currently leading the Santa Rosa Symphony as President & CEO. His career includes executive director roles at the Los Angeles Childrens Chorus and San Francisco Girls Chorus, where he consistently achieved significant growth in enrollment and budget surpluses. He is a trained cellist with degrees from the New England Conservatory and University of Michigan.
Andrew resides in Santa Rosa with his wife, MyungJu Yeo, who is the principal flute for two symphonies, and their daughter, Saemi. His community involvement includes participation with the local Rotary Club, reflecting a deep commitment to the arts and his local community. He is also a graduate of the Kennedy Centers prestigious Arts Management Fellowship program.
He has co-authored a publication on the neuroscience of music, titled "Music to Your Brain: Background Music Changes Are Processed First, Reducing Ad Message Recall. "
