Anna Liu

Anna Liu is an International Representative and Organizer for the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers (IFPTE), based in Ontario. Holding a Masters degree in Labour Studies from McMaster University, her work involves helping workers unionize, assisting with strategic planning, and authoring publications on the Canadian labour movement.

She is a dedicated activist focused on equity and anti-oppression. Anna is an active member of the Asian Canadian Labour Alliance (ACLA), a group committed to fostering solidarity between labor and racialized communities, and she also supports the IFPTE Womens Solidarity Network.

Unique fact: She has been actively involved in labor activism and organizing for nearly 20 years, with a specific focus on worker-centered engagement and community activism.
