Ashby Monk is the Executive and Research Director of the Stanford Long-Term Investing initiative, where he focuses on improving the governance and design of institutional investment organizations. Holding a PhD from the University of Oxford, he is a prolific author and co-founder of several companies that use technology to enhance investment decision-making.
Outside of his academic and entrepreneurial work, Ashby tells people he majored in rowing at Princeton University.
