Bastian Lebsanft

Bastian is a Bachelor of Engineering student at Reutlingen University completing his thesis at Mercedes-Benz AG, where he focuses on dashboard development for performance testing. His background includes diverse experiences within the company in HR project management, recruiting, and assisting the Vice President of Group Research and Sustainability.

As part of his studies, Bastian serves as the Marketing Supervisor for the "IP Plane" project, where students are building a Pitts Model 12 aerobatic biplane. This demonstrates his hands-on approach to engineering and project management, extending his passion for mechanics from automobiles to aviation.

Unique fact: He is part of a university team building a fully functional, two-seater aerobatic airplane from a kit.
