Beth is a writer, editor, and journalist who co-founded the online literary journal, The Sunlight Press. Her career began in daily newspaper reporting, and she holds a B. A. in Journalism from UNC-Chapel Hill and an M. S. in Education with a focus on psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, blending narrative skill with human insight.
She is passionate about creating platforms for new and emerging writers, focusing on introspective creative nonfiction and personal essays. Beth has also dedicated her time to adult education, volunteering as a tutor to help adults improve their reading and writing skills and work towards their high school equivalency degrees.
She co-founded The Sunlight Press in 2017, where she edits submissions, manages the website, and writes for the publication.
