Caroline Butler is a Juris Doctor candidate at American University Washington College of Law with experience in immigration law and international public policy. A recipient of the David L. Boren Scholarship, she has researched womens health in West Africa and worked as a legal intern on immigration proceedings.
Outside of her legal studies, Caroline is a dedicated community organizer, having built a 400-member volunteer network for a presidential campaign and successfully persuaded businesses to adopt new policies as a campus organizer for The Humane League.
