Cherry Wilcoxon

Dr. Cherry Wilcoxon is the Executive Director of Financial Business Ops and Comptroller at the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), leading over 170 employees. With a career spanning over 30 years in federal service, she is a certified defense financial manager specializing in strategic planning, budget execution, and risk management.

Originally from Alabama, her personal motto is, “Failure is not an option. ” Dr. Wilcoxon is passionate about Black history, recently serving as a guest speaker at a Black History Month event in her home county to share lessons with future generations. She is also an active member of her church community.

She is a recipient of the prestigious Presidential Rank Award, an honor awarded to less than 6% of senior executive service leaders annually.
