Chris Strand, MST, CPA, PFS

Chris is a CPA and Personal Financial Specialist with over 44 years of experience. As CFO for Acequia Capital, a venture fund, he excels in strategic planning, financial analysis, and tax compliance. His background includes co-founding the high-net-worth practice at Bader Martin, P. S. and he holds degrees from the University of Washington and Golden Gate University.

Outside of his finance roles, Chris has a unique connection to the legal support industry as a former court reporter who now co-manages Seattle Deposition Reporters. He shows an interest in community well-being by sharing advice on topics like hiring best practices and avoiding financial scams. He also has a son who creates video content.

Uniquely, Chris leveraged his early career experience as a court reporter to co-manage a successful court reporting agency while also serving as a venture fund CFO.
