Clare Payne is a global leader in business ethics, currently serving as the Ethics, Trust and Transparency Leader for EY in Oceania. A former lawyer, she founded The Banking and Finance Oath and previously managed Macquarie Banks Integrity Office. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University.
Outside her corporate role, Clare is an accomplished author of two books, including "One – Valuing the Single Life. " She is also a marathon swimmer, having swum solo around New York City, and is a passionate advocate for social causes, including tobacco-free finance and gender equality.
Unique fact: Before the 2008 financial crisis, her paper Ethics or Bust won the inaugural Ethics & Trust in Finance Prize in Geneva.
