Crystal Botham, PhD, is a leader in academic research development at Stanford University. She is the Director of the Pediatrics Research Development Office and the Founder & Director of the Biosciences Grant Writing Academy, where she helps faculty and trainees secure competitive funding and develop their scientific communication skills. She earned her PhD from the University of Oregon.
Dr. Bothams passion for proposal writing was sparked during her graduate studies. She is dedicated to training the next generation of scientists, focusing on making the often-stressful grant writing process more accessible and successful.
