Darcy Spady

A University of Alberta graduate with a P. Eng. , he was the first Canadian to serve as the international President of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Outside of his corporate roles, Darcy is a community advocate with a passion for public policy, recently running as a federal political candidate. He co-founded a family scholarship for rural students and, as a farmer himself, grows wheat and canola. In his free time, he enjoys kayaking and playing the accordion or piano at local events.
He was the first-ever Canadian to be elected International President of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, representing professionals in 49 countries.
