Davids personal and professional missions are closely aligned, sparked by a friends firsthand experience with the danger of wildfires and the lack of centralized information. This motivated him to volunteer his time to build the initial application, which has since become a critical tool for both the public and first responders.
He and his co-founder built the initial proof of concept for the widely used Watch Duty app in just 80 days.
