David Meyer

David Meyer serves as Avista Corporations Vice President and Chief Counsel for Regulatory and Governmental Affairs, a role hes grown into since joining the company in 1997. He holds a law degree and an MBA from Gonzaga University, along with an accounting degree from the University of Idaho.

Outside of his corporate responsibilities, David is deeply invested in his local community. He actively serves on the board of trustees for both the Community Colleges of Spokane Foundation and the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, demonstrating a commitment to education and child welfare.

He holds a unique combination of three degrees: a Juris Doctor, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelors in accounting.
