David Waller

As the Public Works Director for the City of Daytona Beach, David Waller leads public infrastructure and capital projects. A University of Florida graduate, he progressed from Deputy Director and previously worked for the City of Oviedo. His role involves spearheading downtown redevelopment, managing disaster recovery, and collaborating on urban transformation initiatives.

His professional interests extend to best practices in local government, demonstrated by his affiliation with the International City/County Management Association (ICMA). This reflects a deep commitment to effective public administration and community management beyond his direct municipal duties.

He managed the citys $3.8 million disaster debris removal and disposal contract following Hurricane Matthew.
