Dean De Smet

Dean is a Senior Superintendent at Overaa Construction and a graduate of Cal Polys Construction Management program. He began his career with Overaa working on the Stanford Linear Accelerator project. He is also a decorated U. S. Army veteran with a background in leading complex projects and teams.

Outside of his construction career, Dean served as an officer in the 173rd Airborne Brigade. He was deployed to Europe to support NATO allies as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve. He is married to his wife, Juleigh, whom he met while they were both students at Cal Poly.

Unique fact: Dean completed the U. S. Armys notoriously difficult Ranger School in just 62 days during the dead of winter.
