As a lifelong hearing aid wearer, Dec co-founded Auzi® to challenge the stigma associated with medical devices by transforming them into fashionable accessories. His first entrepreneurial venture was a nutrition coaching platform for founders, and in his youth, he was a squad member for the Glasgow Warriors U16/17 rugby team.
He co-founded his luxury hearing aid jewelry company, Auzi®, after his partner, a jewelry designer, created a custom cover for his hearing aid as a gift.
