Concurrently, he serves as CMO for the biotech company Novir. He holds an MBA, a certificate in Managing Health Care Delivery from Harvard, and is dual board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Steinert has a background in German language, having been an exchange student in Germany. He and his wife, Patricia, are philanthropic supporters of the Womens Fund of Greater Milwaukee and he serves on the Wisconsin Research & Education Network (WREN) Advisory Council.
He holds concurrent Chief Medical Officer roles at a major healthcare system (ThedaCare) and a biotechnology company (Novir).
