Eleanor Read

Eleanor is a senior healthcare communications leader with over 20 years of experience advising C-suite leaders in pharmaceuticals and consumer wellness. She specializes in shaping corporate affairs, managing reputation, and driving organizational transformation. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Kings College London and recently concluded a 17-year tenure at Edelman, where she was Managing Director, Health.

Outside of her professional life, Eleanor is a passionate reader and an avid dog lover, owning a working cocker spaniel named Millie. She also took up running during the lockdown, successfully completing the Couch to 5K program. She enjoys quiet time in the countryside to read a stack of books with no agenda.

After initially being scared of dogs, she is now a self-proclaimed "dog loving nut" who will ask to pet strangers dogs on the street.
