Elena Itskovich, PhD

Elena Itskovich is a scientist turned investor and the Founding General Partner at Nest Catalyst Ventures. With a PhD from the University of Cambridge and a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford, she focuses on turning frontier life-science research into successful companies. People who have worked with her describe her as creative, dedicated, and passionate about impactful science.

Beyond her venture capital work, Elena is deeply committed to community building and non-profit initiatives. She serves as the Board Chair for American Friends of Jordan River Village and is involved with ScienceAbroad, a non-profit for Israeli scientists. She often shares personal insights about the importance of family and supporting meaningful causes.

She was recently honored as one of 200 founders featured in the "Diversify: Female Founders in Focus" photography exhibit at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
