Ellen Reyes

Ellen Reyes is a dedicated educator with experience as an Adjunct Professor at Austin Community College and a High School English Teacher. She holds a Master of Science in Education from Missouri State University and has experience teaching dual enrollment rhetoric courses in partnership with the University of Texas at Austin.

She is passionate about helping students find purpose and appreciation by focusing on the "ordinary" aspects of the world. Her teaching philosophy centers on using mindfulness and intentional observation to foster awareness, contentment, and consideration, both in academics and in life beyond the classroom.

Unique Fact: She designed and teaches a college composition course titled "(Re)mind(ers) for Our Modern World, " which focuses on mindfulness and slowing down to notice the overlooked.
