Emma Vadehra is a leader in education policy, having served as COO for the NYC Department of Education and Chief of Staff at the U. S. Department of Education under the Obama administration. She is also the founder of Next100, a think tank for new policy leaders. She holds degrees from Yale Law School and Brown University.
As a self-described native New Yorker and daughter of immigrants, Emma is passionate about public service and creating a more equitable education system. Her work focuses on supporting diverse teams and developing the next generation of leaders to drive progressive policy change, drawing inspiration from her own background.
