An expert in Next Generation Sequencing analysis from his time at The Babraham Institute, he is the creator of several widely-used bioinformatics tools for the scientific community, such as Trim Galore! and Bismark.
His work focuses on creating custom solutions and tools for researchers. An idea sparked during a 2023 hackathon led him to a key collaboration with Seqera, resulting in a new, much-needed Ribo-seq workflow for the open-source community.
