Freek Karel Mathieu Cox-Aloo

As Engagement Director for Data & AI at HSO, Freek leads customer relationships, overseeing the design and delivery of Microsoft-based AI and data solutions. With a Master of Arts from the University of Amsterdam, colleagues describe him as a passionate, strategic, and intelligent team-player focused on driving business outcomes through data analytics.

Freek is a husband and father who dedicates his personal time to extensive charity work and volunteering. He is also highly active in the international sports community as a certified Badminton World Federation (BWF) umpire for both able-bodied and para-badminton, officiating at events across the globe.

For his more than 30 years of volunteer work for charities, sports federations, and political organizations, he was knighted into the Order of Oranje-Nassau in 2012.
